本文介绍了史学界关于印第安人的起源、特奥蒂瓦坎文明与托尔特克文明的关系、阿兹特克帝国的政治结构、玛雅文明失落的原因、印卡帝国的性质等问题的诸多争议性观点 。
This article introduces the historians'ideas on many controvertible opinions ,such as the origin of the American Indians, the relationship between Teotihuacan and Tolteca civilization, the political structure of Azteca Empire, the reasons for the disappearance of Maya civilization, and the nature of Inca Empire. The Academic Origins of J. Robinson's New History ∥ Li Yong Robinson's New History inherited the heritages of the epistemology and methodology of American historiography, and absorbed the plentiful nutrition from the European knowledge. It was bred by the American academic and the European culture. The theory of social progress, the pragmatist view , the idea of extensive history, the theory of economical and psychological interpretation on history, the view that regarding history both as science and art, and the past criticism about scientific historiography, were the academic origins of the New History.
