摘要
英语语篇的词汇衔接手段分为两大类:复现关系和同现关系。本文从这两方面来探讨词汇衔接手段在英语语篇中的作用,指出词汇衔接手段在语篇中除了起到衔接紧凑,连贯流畅的组篇功能外,还具有修辞功能,并对写作教学具有启示作用。
Lexical cohesive devices in English are composed of two categories: reiteration and collocation. This paper is devoted to the functions of lexical cohesive devices in English texts, pointing out that they not only make texts well-knit and coherent, but also play rhetorical role in English texts, which may give some inspiration to English writing.
