摘要
关于西汉五铢钱的铸造量问题,学术界答案不一,关键是因为对《汉书·食货志》中"亿万"的理解存在分歧。实际上,在汉代,"亿"指实数时,是表示"万万"之意,而非"十万"。"亿万"中的"万"是亿后之余数。西汉五铢钱铸造量当为280亿多,而不是2800亿。
On the problem of the output of 'wuzhu' money made in Western Han dynasty, the academic field has different opinions .The key is that some scholars make some difference in understanding 'Yiwan' in hanshu .In fact, when 'Yi' points to notional number, it means 100 million, not 100 thousand. At the same time, 'Wan' in 'Yiwan' is the surplus number after 'Yi'. So, the number of 'wuzhu' money is more than 28 billion, not 280 billion.
