摘要
将由棉纤维细胞特异表达启动子驱动的外源纤维改良基因(兔角蛋白基因),通过花粉管通道转基因法,导入陆地棉品种(系)苏棉16号、泗棉167、渝棉1号和H1。检测结果表明,转兔角蛋白基因苏棉16号和泗棉167的纤维比强度分别比相应对照增加了23.2%和29.6%,马克隆值下降了13.3%和17.0%,纤维长度与对照接近。结果还表明,外源基因对高品质棉花品种(系)渝棉1号和H1纤维品质的影响不明显,只是衣分有所增加。
The foreign fiber-improving gene, a rabbit keratin gene driven by a fiber-specific E6 promoter, was introduced into Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L. ) plants of the cultivar Sumianl6, Simi-an167, Yumianl, and H1, by means of pollen tube-mediated transformation. The values of 2. 5% span length(SL), strength, and micronaire of the fiber properties and lint percentage were determined to e-valuate the fiber quality of the rabbit keratin-transgenic cotton. The results indicated that the fiber strength of keratin-transgenic Sumian16 and Simian167 were increased, compared with its own control, by 23. 2% and 29. 6% respectively, and micronaire values decreased by 13. 3% and 17. 0% respectively. The results also revealed no effects of the foreign fiber-improving gene on the fiber properties of the high-quality cotton cultivars Yumianl and HI, but some increase only in lint percentage.
