摘要
妥协作为通过冲突各方都放弃自己的部分要求以解决争端和冲突的方法,具有容忍性、互利性、务实性和自愿性等特征。现代民主政治中的妥协原则既有其认识论、政治性根源,也有其经济的、文化的基础,并发挥着实现利益整合与造就和平政治的作用。
Compromise is a way to solve disputes among rival parties with each side giving up some of its demands. It involves tolerance, mutual benefit, practicality and voluntariness. The paper traces the origins of compromise as adopted in modern democratic politics, pointing out that compromise serves to balance interests and ensure peaceful politics.
