摘要
在隐喻研究中,不同学者从不同角度对隐喻的性质和功能作出了各自的阐释。本文简要介绍一下有关学者分别从修辞、认知以及语法的角度对隐喻理论所作的诠释,进而讨论三种隐喻观的异同点,以期达到对隐喻有更深的认识。
The study of metaphor has a long history dating back to Aristotle. Scholars offered explanations as to the nature and its functions respectively. This article introduces briefly three metaphor theories from different perspectives—rhetoric, cognition and grammar. Then the article further discusses similarities as well as differences among them. Through the discussion, this article aims at gaining a better understanding of metaphor.
