摘要
本文介绍了美国大学院校研究的现状、职责及发展趋势,列举了美国一些大学院校研究机构的状况,阐明了其在高等教育管理与决策中的作用,并通过美中两国大学高教研究机构的比较,论述了美国大学的院校研究对中国大学的高教研究的启示。
This paper introduces the actualities, mission and trend of institutional research in American universities. In order to clarify its functions in higher education management decision, it describes the condition of the offices of institutional research in some of them. Through the comparison of higher education institutions both in America and in China, we can acquire enlightenment from it.
