摘要 提出一种针对STL模型镂空的新算法 ,该算法是用体素表达的思想完成镂空 ,即采用紧密排列的正六面体 (体素 )描述STL模型 ,通过计算将模型表面一定范围内的正六面体删除来得到空腔体模型 .其优点是生成的镂空模型的壁厚比较均匀 ,无干涉现象 .在快速成型系统制造产品过程中 。 A simple algorithm for hollowing out a STL model was presented. Voxel representation was used to do the hollowing. Close array cube (voxel) was employed to describe STL model. The hollowing model could be gotten by deleting external voxel of STL model. The hollowing model created by the algorithm was constant wall thickness and no collision. On rapid prototyping (RP), building a hollowed prototype instead of a solid part could reduce the building time and the material consumption.
