This is a paper about introduction to European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization CENELEC and the decisions of OSM/EE regarding safety standard for IT equipment. It can be utilized by safety engineer who conduct testing and evaluating for IT equipment, and designed to assist with common application and understanding of the standard.
