在1963年,Manastyskyj等首次合成了重稀土环戊二烯基二氯化物C_5H_5LnCl_2(Ln=Sm～Lu)。但是,由于镧系收缩和配位不饱和性的原因。
Four new 1, 10-phenanthroline coordinated cyclopentadienyl early lanthanide di-chloride complexes, CpLnCl_2·o-phen·THF (Ln=La, Ce, Pr. Nd) were synthesised by the reac-tion of LnCl_3·o-phen and C_5H_5Na in THF. These compounds were identified by elementalanalysis. IR. XPS and TG.
