摘要 Cosmic rays are flows of highenergy particles coming from the deep of the universe as material samples voluntarily making their way to the Earth from an extra-terrestrial origin. They are involved with some key, unsolved and long-standing puzzles on the cosmic history, evolution of celestial bodies, spatial environment etc. On the Earth's surface, the observation of the primary cosmic rays is to detect the groups of secondary particles resulting from the interaction between them and the atomic nuclei of the atmosphere - the extensive air shower (EAS).
