摘要
巫术大恐慌是欧洲历史上重要的一页。欧洲长期流传下来巫术文化是其爆发的文化背景,而从传统社会到现代社会转型时期的种种灾难和失序是其爆发的主要原因,天主教和新教及世俗政治力量的发动和推动在巫术恐慌的整个过程中起了直接推动作用。
Witch hysteria is an important part of European history. The European witch hysteria has its special cultural background, and the calamities and disorder during the period of social transformation from traditional society to the modern one are the most important cause for the breakout of witch hysteria. Moreover, the mobilization and promotion by Catholicism and Protestantism and the secular political force all gave a direct push to the development of the witch hysteria throughout its course.
