摘要
2000年11月,洛阳市文物工作队为配合洛阳市公安局第6号家属楼的基建工程,发现并清理了一座车马坑(编号:C1M6768).车马坑位于体育场路中段路西约40米处(图一).现将有关情况简报如下.
A chariot burial (coded C1M6768) of the capital of the Eastern Zhou was excavated by the Luoyang Municipal Archaeological Team in 2000. The chariot burial consists of an upper and lower layer. The upper layer yields at least three chariots, its lower layer yields at least fourteen horses. Thirty -five objects including bronze, bone tool have been found. The chariot burial was broken by tomb C1M6767. The tomb, yields seven potteries and two Kongshoubus (sheath - handled shovel - shaped coins), has been dated to the early of the Warring States Period. Accoding to these objects in the tomb and the chariot burial, the chariot burial has been dated to late Spring and Autumn Period. The discovery of the chariot burial and the other tombs proves that the area is imperial mausoleums of the capital of the Eastern Zhou.
