摘要
In 1996, six cliff-side tombs were excavated at Zhujialiangzi of Yiwanshui Village in Baichan Township of Youxian District, Mianyang City. They consist of a passage, a corridor and a chamber. The last part is single-roomed, except for the double chamber in Tomb M2, and is furnished with a stone kitchen range, a corpus platform, and a niche above the kitchen range. The unearthed funeral objects include mainly pottery, and also a number of copper coins and some bronzes and irons. It is noteworthy that M3 yielded two inscribed bricks dated "the second year of Yuanhe period" of Eastern Han Emperor Zhangdi's reign, providing a piece of exact evidence for dating the burials. Going back to the early through the earlier middle stage of the Eastern Han, these graves offer new material for studying Eastern Han cliff-side tombs.
