摘要
提出了用"相近传输分组的自相关函数"和"输入到复用器中的平均传输队列长度"对复用器的输出序列进行估计,从而确定I/Obuffer的大小.根据这个理论,提出了一种基于有线电视(CATV)网络MPEG-2TS进行统计复用的方案和算法.与以往的复用方案和算法相比,在预复用阶段,提出了可应用于实时复用的"循环校验和检测"算法对各路码率进行估计;在复用阶段,提出了"动态间隔排列"算法对PCR值进行再定位和再确定.对实时测试的结果表明,该算法能够较好地符合当前CATV网络的复用要求.
A statistical multiplexing model in the packet switching networks was presented through closed form evaluation of relevant parameters characterizing the process at the output packet sequences of the multiplexer. Compared with previous approaches, the proposed method evaluated the efficiency of the multiplexing process through the autocorrelation function and the mean length of adjacent packet sequences, and also determined the I/O buffer of multiplexer. The author used this model to design and implement an MPEG-2 TS multiplexer on CATV network. In this multiplexer, author presented Periodic Verification and Check Out algorithm to ensure bit rate and proposed Dynamic Space Array algorithm to adjust PCR for every stream. Eventually, the result from real-time system shows the efficiency of these algorithms.
