摘要
在无线信道的多媒体传输中,采用自适应调制技术可以提高传输效率和网络吞吐量,而结合编码码率的自适应调整,能够更大程度地降低系统的中断概率;介绍了改进的自适应功率分配的算法,并在此基础上给出了自适应确定调制级数M和码率R的界限,以用于3G系统的自适应调制和编码.仿真结果表明,应用该自适应调制和编码技术,可降低系统的中断概率达2到3个数量级.
For Third-Generation (3G) mobile communications, the application of a daptive modulation and coding is one of the key techniques to achieve high spectral efficiency on fading channels while a great reduction in outrage probability is maintained. It is presented an improved algorithm of adaptive power allocation and adaptive method of selecting constellation size M and rate R , i.e., selecting an appropriate modulation and coding scheme according to the estimated channel condition. Simulation and numerical results are presented, showing that outrage probability of the adaptive system can be decreased 2-3 orders of magnitude.
