Polarization Beam Splitter Based on Anisotropic Materials

摘要 利用各向异性介质与各向同性介质构造了一维光子晶体 ,利用传输矩阵方法分析了它的能带结构 ,指出利用各向异性介质可以构造高消光比 ,全角度的偏振分束器件 ,并分析了它的理论基础 对影响偏振分束带宽的因素进行了分析 One dimensional photonic crystal consisting of materials with anisotropic refraction index and isotropic refraction index is design. The photonic band structure is analysed by using transfer matrix method. It indicates that this type of structure can be used to fulfil the polarization beam splitter for all angles from 0 to 90 degree. The parameters affecting the bandwidth of this kind of polarization beam splitter are analysed.
