摘要
现代可持续发展思想在20世纪80年代逐步形成的,该思想的合理性使得它得到了世界许多国家的认可。中国是目前世界上最大的发展中国家,在走新型工业化道路的过程中,高度重视可持续发展问题,特别是在中国共产党第十六次代表大会上将可持续发展作为全面建设小康社会的目标之一。从历史和现实两方面通过对具体事例的分析,论述了坚持可持续发展对实现十六大确定的既定目标的重要意义,即只有重视可持续发展才能确保既定发展目标的实现。
The modern thought of sustainable development has been developed since 1980s and is widely approved by many countries. As the greatest developing country in the world,China is under the way of new type of industrialization and must attach importance to problems about sustainable development. The strategy of sustainable development has been defined as one of the objectives of building a well-off society in an all-round way at the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This paper describes the importance of sustainable development to the accomplishment of objectives defined by 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
