摘要
论文对唐朝疆域的若干问题进行了框架性思索。在对相关史料进行分析和吸纳中外相关研究成果的基础上,首先辨明了王朝国家与民族国家两种范式下疆域的性质并就唐朝疆域及观念置放于王朝范畴内做了必要的说明。其次则以其疆域的扩展与萎缩为核心展开论述,旨在证明唐朝疆域的本质不在于地域自身而是活跃其上的人群。唐朝疆域伸缩的关键就在于汉人与非汉人(胡人)是隶属于一个王朝还是分属不同政治体而展开的博弈。
The article made a study of the issues related to the territory and regionalism of the Tang Dynasty from structural perspective. Based on an analysis of the relevant historical records and the research results both at home and abroad,the author first identified two different categories of territory between premodern empire and modern nation-state,and explained why the territory and regionalism of the Tang Dynasty should be put within the category of empire. The author then put the emphasis on the territorial expansion and contraction of the Tang Dynasty to reveal that the essence of the Tang territory relied upon those different ethnic groups who lived in the region rather than the region itself and the key to its territorial expansion and contraction was decided by whether the Han people and minority people lived in the same political body.
