摘要
陈世雄先生是我国戏剧学领域的重要学者,他的研究涉及现代西方戏剧研究、闽台地方戏剧研究、比较戏剧学研究、戏剧人类学研究等多个领域。他的治学极其严谨而独具创新性,既具有宗教学、哲学、文化学、人类学等不同学科交叉研究的广博视野,又扎实地立足于戏剧本体研究基础,以梳理和总结各种繁复而具有争议性的重要问题见长;同时,他也是一位优秀的剧作家,真正做到了以实践检验理论,以理论指导实践。
Mr.Chen Shixiong is a pundit of drama studies in our country.His research involves modern western drama,local drama in Fujian and Taiwan,comparative drama,drama anthropology,and so on.His study is strict and innovative.On the one hand,he has broad horizon through combining different subjects like religion,philosophy,culturology,anthropology in his research;on the other hand,his study also roots in the foundation of drama research itself.To analyze and summarize important questions which are complicated and controversial is his forte.Meanwhile,as an outstanding dramatist,he can verify his theory with his drama work,and his theory can guide his artistic creation.
