高职英语教学“四化”问题与对策研究

摘要 高职英语教学中的'四化'问题,即英语地位的边缘化、有些课堂教学的娱乐化、考评手段的单一化和一些学生缺乏学习兴趣的严重化,严重制约着英语教学水平的整体提升,也不利于学生英语学习潜能的发挥。'四化'问题出现的原因,宏观上是由于缺乏顶层设计,没有形成可持续发展的战略规划;微观上是教学方法、教学理念、教材选用、学生素质等方面的问题。为解决这些问题,政府要统筹规划,学校要办出特色,教师要提高能力,并对学生加以正确教育和引导。 The four modernizations in English teaching in higher vocational colleges refers to the marginalization of English status,the entertaining of classroom teaching,the simplification of evaluation means and the lack of general interest in learning,which have seriously restricted the overall promotion of English teaching,and is not conducive to students’ potential for English learning. The reasons for the emergence of the " four modernizations" are macroscopically because of the lack of a top-level design and a strategic plan for sustainable development,microgeography because of the problems in teaching methods,teaching concepts,selection of teaching materials,and students’ quality. In order to solve these problems,the government should make overall plans,schools should make distinctive features,and teachers should improve their abilities and educate and guide the students properly.
