摘要
《典藏中国中国古代壁画精粹》丛书由谢斌、王谦、何鸿等编著,选取大约从公元11世纪至公元16世纪的五座寺院(包括白居寺、夏鲁寺、科迦寺、托林寺、扎塘寺)以及东嘎石窟、古格王宫中的壁画,反映早期西藏民间绘画艺术的风貌,是西藏古代壁画精华的体现。这些壁画绘制年代较早,壁画的图像学研究与寺院考古目前基本都处于学术研究阶段,很多图片资料通过本套丛书首次出版。
'Ancient Chinese Murals Selection',compiled by Xie Bin,Wang Qian and He Hong,has selected seven temples’murals dating from 11th century to 16th century which represent the essence of the ancient Tibetan murals.Those murals were drawn in ancient times.The image research of murals and temple archaeology are still in the academic research stage at present and much picture information is published for the first time through this series of books.
