摘要
近年来,随着环境问题的日益突出,人们开始关注和重视一个新的名词:湿地——地球之肾。国际湿地组织于1996年3月的《湿地公约》常委委员会第19次会议上作出决定,从1997年开始,每年的2月2日为世界湿地日,在这一天,世界各国都举行不同形式的活动来宣传保护自然资源和生态环境。然而在许多人的印象中,湿地仍是一个比较模糊的概念,大家似乎都认识湿地,但又说不确切到底什么是湿地。
As environmental issues are becoming more and more salient in recent years,people are beginning to pay special attention to wetlands,which are often compared to the kidneys of the earth.In March 1996.the 19th session of the standing committee of "the Convention on Wetlands" of Wetlands International decided to celebrate World Wetlands Day internationally each year on February 2.The first World Wetlands Day was inaugurated in 1997.Nowadays countries across the world celebrate the day by promoting the conservation of natural resources and ecology.Zhejiang is a land of many wetlands with diverse characteristics.Let us go and take a look at our wetlands.
