摘要
以技术、资本、劳动力等为主的硬实力决定着一国的比较优势,同时以文化、外交、价值观为内涵的国家软实力同样有助于贸易优势的形成。以2006—2016年海外各国孔子学院的数量衡量我国对他国的文化传播力度,以我国与各国的建交持续时间和他国领事馆数量衡量我国的外交力度,在引力方程基础上通过LSDV和系统GMM方法检验我国软实力中的文化和外交要素对我国出口贸易的影响效应,结果表明,对外文化传播力度对我国的出口产生了正面促进作用,尤其有效推动了我国与文化差异大的贸易伙伴国及发展中国家之间的出口,且该效应在文化产品上体现得更为显著;我国外交力度对出口同样具有正面溢出效应,我国与他国邦交关系为出口贸易带来的好处并不亚于经济合作关系。
Comparative advantage of a country is mainly determined by hard power such as technology,capital and labor.However,soft power,which is consisted of culture,diplomacy and values,also contributes to trade advantage. In this paper,strength of China’s cultural communication is measured by the number of Confucius colleges abroad between 2004 and 2016;and diplomatic power of China is measured by the duration of diplomatic relationship between China and countries and number of consulates of them. Based on gravity equation,cultural and diplomatic soft power of China is tested through LSDV and systemGMM. Results show that cultural communication has a positive effect on China’s export,this effect especially embodies in trade partner with large culture distance and developing countries,and export of cultural products benefits more from culture soft power;the positive spillover effect on exports can also be seen in diplomacy,trade benefits come from diplomatic relationship are not less than that from economic cooperation between countries.
