摘要
本文对毛泽东诗词两种英译本中意义的传译进行了比较分析,主要从一般意义、专有名词和典故三个方面来着手探讨。作者认为在翻译中国古典诗歌时,在不损害原文意义特别是语用意义的前提下,应尽量采用格律体译法。当然,这并不意味着绝对排斥自由体译法。
This thesis has made a comparative analysis of some Mao Zedong's poems in terms of its general meaning, proper nouns and allusions. The author holds that in the translation of classical Chinese poetry, the metrical-verse-translation should first and foremost be preferred on the premise that the original meaning, especially the pragmatic meaning would not be impaired. This does not necessarily mean that the free-verse-translation is exclusively discarded.
