摘要
话语标记是言语交际的重要组成部分,但它不同于一般的语言形式,不影响话语的真值表达,具有句法上的相对独立性和非强制性,因此语法地位并不确定。本文梳理和评述了语法化、语用化、征派等理论对话语标记的阐释力,分析发现:话语标记的生成和语法地位取决于研究者如何描述语法的概念和对语言演化过程进行参数设置,因对话语标记的演化过程和结果关注不同,研究者的结论迥然不同。
DMs are important parts of utterances, which are different from other language forms in that they do not add anything to the propositional content of an utterance and are syntatically optional and non-obligatory with uncertain grammatical status. This article has critically discussed and reviewed the mechanisms of DMs such as grammaticalization, pragmaticalizaiton, cooptation and related theory issues. It holds that the description of the rise of DMs and their grammatical status roughly depends on researchers’ conceptualization of grammar and their modal of parameters.Diverse conclusions can be drawn with different emphasis on either the process or the result of the evolution of a DM.
