观赏海棠新品种‘红粉海棠’

A New Cultivar of Malus spectabilis ‘Hongfen Haitang’

摘要 ‘红粉海棠’是由引进的北美观赏海棠中选育出的新品种。节间短,枝与主干夹角大,自然树形为圆宝塔形。花期叶片小而稀疏,幼叶被短绒毛,成熟叶亮绿色。花蕾硕大饱满呈品红色,花朵艳红粉色。果实深红色,萼片宿存。 ‘Hongfen Haitang’is a new cultivar of Malus spectabilis with high ornamental value.The cultivar has shorter internode.The angle between branch and trunk is large.The nature tree crown is round tower.Leaves are small and sparse during flowering.Young leaves are covered with short woolly hairs.Mature leaves are bright green.Buds are big and full with magenta color.Flowers are brilliant red pink.Fruits are dark red with persistent sepals.
