摘要
北美华人华侨议题研究中的铁路华工问题一直以来受到学界的瞩目,自上世纪80年代以来,两岸学者砥砺共进,就北美太平洋铁路华工问题进行了基础性的开拓研究与专题论述。一方面取得了相关重要学术成果,另一方面也显露出不少研究存在的实质性问题。本文就两岸学界在该议题所取得的进展进行简要陈述,并系统地指出现有研究的局限与不足,提供相关参考意见,以期为新阶段铁路华工议题拓展性研究有所贡献。
The issue of the overseas Chinese and the Pacific Railway Chinese workers in North America have been a main subject in the overseas Chinese study. Since 1980s,the scholars both in China's Mainland and Taiwan have made a basal research on the above issue. They have been made arrays of important academic achievement,however there also remains some weakness of these study. So this article tries to make a brief presentation of the relevant study and points out the shortcomings of the present study. In the end,the article will recommends some academic opinions looking forward to make some contribution to the further study of the Pacific Railway Chinese workers.
