摘要
高本汉《中国音韵学研究》一书是中古音研究的基石,距今已经出版一百周年了。百年间,中古音研究也取得了很多辉煌的成绩。但迄今为止,却从未有人核对过此书音节数。文章首次全面搜寻高本汉《中国音韵学研究·古音字类表》音节表,并依据《广韵》对其进行勘正。《广韵》中共有3 874个小韵,即有3 874个音节。而据文章统计,高本汉表中共有1 995个小韵,与《广韵》相比缺少了1879个小韵。高本汉仅仅使用《广韵》中一半的小韵,便做出了《中国音韵学研究》这样的煌煌巨著,这种结果是否会对中国音韵学的研究产生影响?文章给出了一个深入思考的空间。
It was one century ago that B. Karlgren s Etudes sur la Phonologie Chinoise was published. And it is also described as the cornerstone of the middle Chinese sounds study. Over the past hundred years, the study of the middle Chinese sounds has made remarkable achievement. However,as far as I know,no one has ever checked the number of the syllables in this book before. This thesis takes an unprecedented step of focusing on the syllable table by making a comparison between Tableaux Dinitiales of Etudes sur la Phonologie Chinoise and Guangyun(《广韵》). There are 3874 syllables in Guangyun,but statistically,B. Karlgren only took almost half(1995) of it to study. Nevertheless, his Etudes sur la Phonologie Chinoise has been a phenomenal success. But does it more or less affect the ancient Chinese phonology study? This thesis will give a comprehensive review to this issue.
