摘要
身份认同很大程度上源于社会成员彼此之间对共同体的想象,是社会互动与社会承认的结果。大众传媒通过引导、界定、修改个人对外在环境的认知与判断、价值与行为,从而在公众的想象和政治话语中建构社会认同。本文通过梳理和比较回归前后香港居民身份认同的历史变迁,分析了大众传媒对于"自我"与"他者"身份定位二元框架的建构与消解,以及回归后随着民族意识的传播所强化的双重认同。这种媒体的符号现实与受众基于社会情境与自身经验的主观现实,对回归后香港居民的身份认同形成共构。
The identity is largely derived from the imagination of the community between social members.National identity is the result of social interaction and social recognition.Mass media constructs the social identity in the public's imagination and political discourse through guiding,defining and modifying individual's cognition and judgment,value and behavior toward the external environment.By comparing the historical changes of Hong Kong residents' identity before and after the handover,this paper has analysed the construction and deconstruction of the dualistic framework of identity by mass media,and the dual identity with the spread of nationalism after the handover.The symbolic reality constructed by mass media and the subjective reality based on the audience's social situation and individual experience construct the identity of Hong Kong residents after the handover.
