摘要
历史上,缅甸多民族国家族际关系紧张,族际矛盾突出。在长期的殖民统治下,英国殖民者对缅甸采取了"分而治之"、"以夷制夷"的政策,人为制造族际矛盾,使缅甸的族际关系问题更加凸显,族际冲突成为常态。本文试将独立前缅甸纷繁复杂的族际关系划分为良性、中性和恶性关系三种类型,这对认识、理解和解读后来的缅甸民族问题具有重要的参考意义。
Historically,the inter- ethnic relations of the multi- ethnic country of Myanmar have always been quite tense with acute inter- ethnic conflicts. For the long-term colonial rule,the British colonists adopted the policies of 'divide- and- rule'and'using barbarians against barbarians'which incurred inter- ethnic conflicts,worsened the inter- ethnic relation and caused the inter- ethnic conflict to persist. This article intends to divide the complicated inter- ethnic relations before the independence of Myanmar into benign,neutral and vicious types,which will have important implications for the learning,understanding and interpretation of the ethnic issues of Myanmar.
