The expressway uneven settlement in the Zhujiang delta area resulting in diseases and bringing about endangerments are discussed,and the characteristics of the expressway uneven settlement analyzed. The causes of forming uneven settlement of embankment and joint of embankment and bridge after construction are researched. Finally, the treatment measures for controlling the uneven settlement of the expressway in the Zhujiang delta area are given.
