摘要
中国和印度作为发展中国家,都力图通过参加区域经济合作来推动各自的经济发展,但两国参加的途径、参与区域经济合作组织的数量和类型以及所处的阶段,都有较大的差异。展望未来,印度将继续推进"东进"策略,中国将努力促进东亚经济合作,两国要加强在这一领域的合作,共同促进经济发展。
Both being developing countries, China and India are seeking to develop their economies through participation in regional economic cooperation. Yet they vary, to an considerable extent, in the pattern of participation, number and nature of organizations for the purpose, and degree of involvement. While India pursues a strategy of eastward expansion, China is making her effort to promote cooperation among eastern Asian countries. The two should taking steps further cooperation in this respect in pursuit of economic development.
