Agrochemicals, especially herbicides, whose leads come from natural products are briefly reviewed. Compoundsincluding 2,4-D, bilanaphos, glufosinate, endothal, cinmethylin, acifluorfen, HPPD inhibitors such as sulcotrione, andothers are discussed along with their related natural compounds. The discovery history of some of these compounds is alsoprovided.
