高校图书馆向社会公众开放,一使闲置的图书资源得到利用,二将适应广阔的社会需求,三能增强自身发展潜力,四是参与发展国家信息产业。高校图书馆在向社会提供开放服务方面具有三大优势。向社会开放将会给高校图书馆自身的发展带来新的空间。
University Library's opening towards the social public can make the idle books resources be utilized, fit in with the vast social demand, strengthen the developing potentiality of its own, and take part in developing national information industry. In aspect of providing the society with opening service, university library has three superiorities. And opening towards the society can bring about new spaces to the development of university library itself.
