摘要
当SARS疫情最初凸现时,国内的一些媒体未能对此进行积极的科学的正面的报道,由此暴露出不少新闻工作者科学素养的缺失和传播力量的不足。扩展开来谈,近年来一些新闻媒体在科学报道或其他报道中也存在着不合科学事实、违背科学规律的现象,这归根结底反映了某些新闻工作者科学素养缺失的问题。提高新闻传播工作者的科学素养,加强必要的引导和规范,也应是媒体的当务之急。
As the SARS loomed up, there was certain lack of active, objective and unmasking reports of the disease. It lays bare, to a considerable extent, the deficiencies of journalism such as the absence of objectivity on the part of reporters. Broadly speaking, this absence is no less reflected, as exposed in other journalist activities, by the reporters' divergence from the truth and their disregard of the objective principle. Therefore, an urgent task for the press is to revive the objective spirit of reporters and reinforce the guidelines and regulations concerned.
