An experimental gas pressure control system for gas assisted injection molding on the basis of the fuzzy PID controller was designed. The hardware configuration of this system was introduced and an object oriented control software package was developed on the basis of Windows environment and by means of Visual C++6.0. This system allows the gas pressure to be controlled accurately up to 5 levels.
