本文从声带活动情况、发音部位、发音方式等方面描述了[t][d]两个辅音音素的特点,以及它们出现在单词的不同位置、辅音簇和意群中出现的送气程度、不完全爆破、鼻腔爆破、舌侧爆破或旁流爆破、英式英语与美式英语中[t]发音的不同点,以及在单词中[t][d]的字母和字母组合表现形式相同时读音方面的差异。
On the criteria of the work of the vocal cords, the place of articulation and the manner of articulation, the author describes the characteristics of [t] and [d] when they stand alone. He also elaborates their degree of aspiration, incomplete plosion, nasal plosion, lateral plosion, the difference in the articulation of [t] between British and American as well as the articulation of [t] and [d] when the letter or letter groups standing for their pronunciation are the same.
