A key factor in understanding Dream of Red Mansions is how Cao Xue-qin interprets Qing,which means different kind of complex emotions in the novel.Cao Xue-qin,who has come through the rises and falls in his family and the ups and downs in his own life,puts all his understandings of Qing into the creation of his novel.To have a deep understanding of Qing in Dream of Red Mansions by Cao Xue-qin is of great significance for people today in dealing with problems related to Qing.
