摘要
库尔特·冯内古特在小说《猫的摇篮》中虚构了一个南美岛国圣洛伦佐在科技成果不当使用的直接影响和残暴殖民政治的间接影响下走向灭亡的故事。圣洛伦佐的民众在科技和政治双重压榨下,表现出典型的后人类~①特征,他们不仅要遭受身体层面的暴力惩戒,而且要承受意识层面的强制改造。另外,小说还表达了后人类主体地位与科技客体地位互换的忧患意识,尤其勾勒出了科技与极权政治结合下,饱受压迫的后人类千疮百孔、不堪一击的一面。本文认为《猫的摇篮》是一部杰出的后人类的政治启示录。
Kurt Vonnegut has invented a fictional South American island country named San Lorenzo in his novel Cat’s Cradle who ends in destruction under the direct impact of the leakage of scientific and technological achievements and the indirect impact of the brutal colonial politics.The people in San Lorenzo Under the dual squeeze of politics and technology have show n the typical post-human characteristics.They suffer from not only physical violent retribution,but also mental coercive remolding.What’s more,the novel expresses the proactive awareness of the reversal of post-human’subject position and technology’s object position.Especially when technology has combined with totalitarian politics,the oppressed post-human will face incalculable disaster and they cannot withstand a single blow.This paper argues that Cat’s Cradle is a prominent political apocalypse for post-human.
