摘要
托尔斯泰终其一生都在探索人生的意义,这一思考又与其对死亡的书写密不可分。托尔斯泰死亡书写下的小说人物大都呈现出博爱让生命不朽的智慧。通过死亡书写,托尔斯泰实际上始终关注着人生的道德与价值意义。从早期的短篇小说《三死》开始,年轻的托尔斯泰就展现了他的博爱思想和生命不朽观念,到晚期的《伊万·伊利奇之死》,托尔斯泰仍保持着《三死》中形成的死亡智慧,并把死亡沉思升华,将死亡书写塑造成对人类普遍生存状态的揭示,即揭示了日常人们遮蔽死亡的生存状态,与此同时,暗示了人生需要向死而生的道理。
Tolstoy thought about the meaning of life throughout his life. This thought was tightly linked to his writings of death.The characters in his death-writing novels all had formed a wisdom that philanthropy made immortal life. He thought morality and life meanings though his death-writings novels. Tolstoy performed his ideas about philanthropy and immortal life in his earlier short novel,Three Deaths. In his late novel, The Death of Ivan Il’ich, Tolstoy remained the philosophy of death which had exhibited in Three Deaths.What’s more, Tolstoy advanced his reflection on the philosophy of death to another peak. He disclosed the common living statement of common people. In other words, in The Death of Ivan Il’ich, Tolstoy revealed the living statement where common people covered the truth of death. At the same time, it also indicated the truth of life of Being-towards-death.
