摘要
翻译是两种语言之间的转换,不能简单地用一种语言来替换另一种语言。东西方文化的不同而导致的思维差异,使得汉英两种语言在表达顺序、表达结构、表达方法、修辞方式和用词等方面均有较大的差异。翻译过程中要顺利地完成汉英两种语言的转换,对这两种语言进行系统对比,找出它们之间的差异,并有针对性地发展翻译技巧,无疑是一个很好的切入点。
Translation is a shift from one language to another, but not the one that simply uses a language to take the place of the other. In translation the difference between eastern and western cultures leads to the (difference) in people's thinking, which results in the (differences) of sentence structure, word order in a sentence, choice of words, ways of expression and rhetoric in Chinese and English. To achieve a smooth shift, the comparison between these two languages is the first key step.
