1991年日朝开始建交谈判以来,朝核问题和'绑架问题'一直是阻碍谈判取得进展的两大障碍.日本至今仍对朝鲜采取敌视和遏制政策,两国关系的基础十分脆弱,加上美朝关系对日本的影响,日朝改善关系的道路仍将是漫长而曲折的.
. Since starting negotiations in 1991 on
the normalization of relations between Japan and DPRK, DPRK's nuclear problem and 'kidnapping' issue have been two major obstacles jeopardizing the progress in their negotiations. At present, Japan maintains its hostile and containing policies toward the DPRK. The foundation of Japan - DPRK relationship is quite fragile. In addition, U.S. policy toward DPRK has substantial impact on Japan, there will be a long and tortuous path for improving Japan - DPRK relations.
