摘要
这几年，ＣＡＣＨＥ技术被广泛应用．ＣＡＣＨＥ实际上就是一种高速缓冲存储器，现在ＣＰＵ的速度比主存的速度愈来愈快，如果ＣＰＵ直接对主存访问，将减小的效率，则将大的较慢的主存与小的较快ＣＡＣＨＥ的存储器放在一起．ＣＡＣＨＥ内存的目的是将内存速度提高到最快，同时以较低的价格提供较大的内存空间的半导体存储器．
The technique of CACHE is widely used these years. CACHE memory is a sort of high speed buffer memory. Now CPU' s speed is faster than main memory's. It will decrease efficiency of CPU if CPU accesses main memory directly. There is a large and slower main memory together with a smaller and faster cache memory. Cache memory is intended to give memory speed approaching that of the fastest memories available, and at the same time provides a large memory size at the price of less expensive types of semiconductor memories.
