摘要
通过对梅州市所处地理自然环境、人口分布、经济发展水平等分析,从促进梅州市域综合竞争力的提高与完善梅州中心城区本身城市功能、提升城市质量的角度,提出梅州市现阶段应走培育壮大中心城区规模为主的城市化之路,并从土地、社保、财政、拓宽城建融资渠道、计划生育多方面提出加速城市化、促进城市建设的策略.
Based on the analysis of geographical position, natural environment, population distribution and level of local economic development, this thesis holds that the orientation of urbanization for Meizhou is at the present stage to develop and expand the downtown area of central city. Such an orientation is to promote the comprehensive competitiveness of the city, to better the city functions of central city and to upgrade the quality of city life. The author puts forward several strategies for speeding-up urbanization process from the following aspects: land administration, social welfare, financial service, fund-raising channel and population control policy.
