Synthesis of the orange-red long afterglow phosphor:Gd_2O_2S:Sm^(3+) by the microwave radiation method

摘要  首次采用微波法合成橙红色长余辉磷光粉:Gd2O2S:Sm3+,并表征了其结构,激发、发射光谱和余辉衰减曲线.XRD分析证实其为单相的硫氧化钆.光致发光光谱显示Sm3+的3个特征发射(4G5/2→6HJ,J=5/2,7/2,9/2).该磷光粉经紫外和可见光激发后呈现出长时间明亮的余辉发射,是一种性能良好的新型长余辉发光材料. Sm^(3+) doped gadolinium oxysulfide phosphor,which has the orange-red long afterglow emission,was synthesized by microwave radiation method. The synthesized phosphors were characterized by X-ray diffraction. The excitation and photoluminescence spectra,afterglow spectra and afterglow decay curves were examined. XRD confirmed the phosphor as pure phase of Gd_2O_2S. The phosphors showed three typical transitions of Sm^(3+)(()~4G_(5/2)→()~6H_J,J=5/2,7/2,9/2). A prominent phosphorescence can be seen in this phosphor after illuminated with UV light or visible light.
