一、台湾海峡的潮波(一) 潮波的传播台湾海峡的潮振动,由两部分合成:一是太平洋潮波所引起的协振动,另一是月亮和太阳在本海区直接引起的独立潮,后者远比前者为小。因此,海峡的潮振动,主要是太平洋潮波所引起的协振动结果。太平洋潮波经日本与台湾间由东南向西北传播,其中有一部分进入台湾海峡,这支潮波在台湾海峡由东北向西南传播,形成台湾海峡的下行波;
Four problems concerning tides and tidal currents in the Taiwan Strait are identified.These are:1.The formation and some properties of tidal waves in the Strait;2.The distribution of major constituents of tidal currents(M2,S2,K1 and O1)are regular based on the analytical results;3.Tides in the northern and central parts of the Strait are semidiurnal.The tides in the southern area of the Strait are mixed,semidiurnal tidal currents are present in most areas of the Strait;4.The maximum probable tidal range and tidal currents are discussed.
