摘要
介绍一种子午线弧长的计算公式,依据该式对几种常用的椭球体进行了计算。计算结果表明,该法与椭圆积分计算式相比较,具有计算简单,能满足精度要求的优点。
A kind of calculating formula for ellipsoid arc length is introduced. The calculating results show that the comparison with conventional formula of elliptic integral method has the advantages to calculate simply and to enable the satisfaction of precision requirement.
