The design principle and the structure of a high speed data acquisition system for radar target returns was introduced. With the help of the structure characteristic of FIFO, a sampling pre striking circuit was designed which can effectively prevent the loss of sampling data when using the way of circumscription detect. PCI interface technology and CPLD was used to implement the real time sampling of two channels radar target returns.
