摘要
目的 :探讨基质金属蛋白酶 -2 (MMP-2 )和组织基质金属蛋白抑制剂 -2 (TIMP-2 )在人甲状腺乳头状癌组织中的表达及其与浸润程度、淋巴结转移的关系。方法 :应用免疫组织化学 S-P法对 56例甲状腺乳头状癌组织及其癌旁正常甲状腺组织中 MMP-2和 TIMP-2表达情况进行检测。结果 :MMP-2和 TIMP-2在甲状腺乳头状癌组织中表达的阳性率分别为 76.8% (43 / 56)和 3 7.5%(2 1/ 56)。在癌旁正常甲状腺组织中表达的阳性率分别为 3 3 .9% (19/ 56)和 3 2 .1% (18/ 56) ,表明MMP-2在甲状腺乳头状癌中有较高表达率。同时 MMP-2和 TIMP-2的表达与浸润程度、淋巴结转移有显著相关性 (P<0 .0 5) ,与肿瘤大小无相关性。结论 :MMP-2和 TIMP-2的表达与甲状腺乳头状癌浸润程度、淋巴结转移密切相关 。
Objective:To study the expression of Matrix Metall oproteinase-2(MMP-2) and Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinase-2(TIMP-2) in Papillary Thyroid Carcinomas(PTL) tissues and the relationship with degree of th e infiltration and lymph node metastasis.Methods:Using S-P immunohistochemical methods,we examined the e xpression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in 56 PTC tissues and adjacent follicular epithe lia.Results:The positive expression rates of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 in P TC were 76.8 %(43/56),and in the adjacent follicular epithelia to cancerous tiss ue were 33.9 %(19/56) and 32.1 %(18/56).The expression of MMP-2 in PTC was sign ificantly higher than those in the adjacent follicular epithelia.The expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were not correlated with size of tumour.The expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were correlated to the degree of the infiltration and lymph n ode metastasis in PTC.Conclusion:The expression of MMP-2 and TIMP-2 were closely cor related to the degree of infiltration and lymph node metastasis in PTC,which may serve as one of the parameters for determing biological behavior and prognosis of PTC.
